Trafalgar Golf Club Seniors Deniliquin Trip

11^th -16^th April 2010 

Once again the trip to Deniliquin went off smoothly due to some wonderful organizing by a number of people.  Our hosts at the Deniliquin Riverside Caravan Park, Andrew and Shelly made us most welcome and once again put on a BBQ meal  for us all (in the new sheltered area) and also organised a new initiative, a games night in their new recreation room which provided many laughs and some sore muscles (and heads).  Andrew and Shelly also provided a discount on accommodation which was very much appreciated.

The golf club was in very good condition after some recent rain in the region.  A far cry from last year’s very dry conditions in the area.  The rains have brought out the locusts and several vehicles arrived with very yucky windscreens from the juicy little devils.

We had a lovely lunch at the “Globe” hotel and two evenings at the RSL.  The RSL also looked after us with free membership, discount meals and drinks and access to the Shuttle Bus which took us on a tour of Deni and then home to the park.  The photos are a snap shot of our time at Deni.  Well done to all organizers and to everyone who attended.
