Located on the Darnum-Allambee road just south of Darnum (east of Warragul), the Weir family have been treating pine in Gippsland since 1966. We use the Tanilith CCA method and guarantee our product for 40 years if used in it's correct application. Chris Weir will advise you of the correct product to suit your job. We treat our product to be Australian Standards compliant in either the H3 or H4 categories.
H3 is for timber exposed to weather but not in contact with the ground. Typical uses are fence palings, pickets and rails, fascia and decking.
H4 is for most ground contact situations. Barn poles, fence posts, stays and strainers and other landscaping uses.
Recent media reports regarding Treaded Timber may have created confusion in regard to the right and wrong application of this product. Many people are unsure of the new regulations and the impact this may have. We are here to help you sort through the red tape and make sure you have the correct product for the right application.
We are able to supply you with a high quality treated timber product which complies with AS1604.1 and all new labeling requirements.
All our timber carries a forty (40) year guarantee against rot and white ants when used and installed correctly. As we have been around for forty years this is no idle guarantee!!!!
